Minutemen Grapple with Valleyview Vikings

In a week where the illness and injury left the Middle School grapplers shorthanded with two matches on the docket, the Minutemen traveled to Denville to take on the Valleyview Middle School Vikings for the first time.  The seasoned and sizable Viking squad offered the Minutemen ample opportunity for matches.   Most wrestlers took on two opponents over the course of the contest, and the Minutemen newcomers continue to look stronger each and every match.  Eighth graders Yihun Stith ’22, Adrien Chouraqui ’22, and Dominik Tasse ’22 all earned pins.  Man of the match honors go to Cameron Wright ’23 who walked away from the day with two victories for his season tally: a third period pin in his first match, and a win by technical fall in his second.
