NA A and B Volleyball Tumble Down the Far Hills
Today's matches with Far Hills were hard fought and had many serves. The A team played a stronger net game with Meredith starting off the match with a kill. Jessie put us up one at 18-17 and Ava evened us out at 21-21 with two aces. The set stayed tied at 22-22 and 23-23 before Far Hills clinched the first set. In the second set. In the second set, Serin fired off 7 points from the service line which kept us in the match but we just couldn;t close the gap soon enough.
The B team played well behind the superb serving of Rebecca! In the first set she serve 4 strong serves and gave us a commanding lead in the second set with 8 serves (7 aces). Far Hills chipped away at our lead but we stayed in the match with a couple of strong returns by Kaya and another ace by Rebecca. Far Hills squeaked by at the end of the set to win the match.
The A team plays Heritage on Thursday at home.
