Newark Academy - Stuart Country Day
The #LadyMinutemen fell to Stuart in the semi-finals of the Prep B tournament. It was a small gym and a tough atmosphere, and Stuart was a good team. Stuart started quick and took the lead. Ivy Bethea had all eight points for NA in the first quarter, and the Lady Minutemen trailed seven to start the second. Stuart proceeded to outscore us 40-17 in the next two quarters, pulling away for good. NA played hard, but it just wasn't our day.
Bethea finished with a team high 14 points and 9 rebounds. Nora Gaby-Biegel had 9 assists, and Kyra Cooperman chipped in with six points.
